New Dawn Associates (NDA) is a Rwandan-based tourism destination management company and social enterprise that specializes in community-based tourism development, interpretive planning, and transformative travel experiences in Rwanda. We provide training, consulting, and curated travel experiences that aim to inspire, educate, and connect.

• Abide by the cancellation and refund terms specific to your booking.
• Accept that prices may vary depending on availability, group size, or customizations.

4. Community-Based Tourism and Ethical Travel

NDA is committed to promoting ethical and responsible travel. When participating in community experiences:

• You agree to respect local customs, laws, and traditions.
• You understand that community hosts are partners, not service providers.
• You agree not to give handouts (such as money, sweets, or gifts) to community members, especially children, as this undermines local dignity and community development goals.
• You accept that experiences may be shaped by local context and seasonal availability.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in disrespectful, exploitative, or disruptive behavior.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, images, logos, and training materials—is the property of New Dawn Associates or used with permission. You may not use, copy, or reproduce any content without express written consent.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

7. Third-Party Services

8. Participation in National Park Activities

New Dawn Associates facilitates bookings for experiences in Rwanda’s national parks, including but not limited to Akagera, Volcanoes, and Nyungwe National Parks.

Please note that each park operates under the authority of a separate management body and issues its own indemnity and risk acknowledgment agreements. These documents outline the inherent risks of park-based activities and must be reviewed and accepted by all participants prior to the activity.

By booking through New Dawn Associates, you acknowledge that:

• NDA is not the operator or manager of any national park.
• Participation in any park activity requires acceptance of the respective park’s indemnity agreement.
• NDA assumes no liability for incidents, injuries, or disruptions occurring during park activities.
• Failure to sign the indemnity form may result in denial of participation without a refund.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We strive to ensure accurate information on our website but cannot guarantee that all content is always up to date or free from error. Our Services are provided “as is,” and we do not accept liability for:

• Delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, transport, or partner availability. Exception: If park management cancels an activity due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued for that portion of the experience. Management may, at its discretion, offer an alternative time or date for the affected activity. This does not apply to no-shows or late arrivals, for which no refund will be provided.
• Injuries, losses, or damages incurred during a third-party or partner-operated tour.
